Hi I’m Angelika.
Originally born in Sweden, my passion for interior design started when I was a little girl. You would have been able to find me in my room, arranging and rearranging furniture until I was happy with the layout and feel for that particular time. As the years have gone on my passion for interiors has only grown, resulting in a career that I naturally aspire towards and am passionate about. Hence, Salty Palm Interiors was born.
Residing between the Northern Beaches of Sydney and the tropical Sunshine Coast, I mix a natural eye for Scandi and Nordic design with a strong influence of coastal calm. Fully qualified as an interior stylist, my love of nature and how best to use our natural materials has resulted in my gaining additional qualifications in both plant styling and landscape design. You’ll still find me arranging and rearranging furniture, but this time probably bare foot and with a lush stem of greenery in hand.
Salty Palm Interiors
We are all about creating calming, natural and earthy interiors. Our belief is that spaces are meant to evoke feelings - a vibe within your home that urges a want to lounge and remain. And because sustainability is of utmost importance, especially nowadays, we aim to source and purchase goods from local and ethical businesses where best possible. We use hand-made organic pieces across most projects and always focus on re-using or re-purposing where we can - this is the Salty Palm difference. We work with natural materials and textures to create that ‘lived in feeling’, without making your home feel overly styled.
Dedicated to each clients individual scope of work, and with an appreciation that each project holds its own unique qualities, collaboration with our clients is key - taking in both desires and project constraints in order to produce spaces that are not only pleasing aesthetically but emotionally. Ultimately, we strive to give your space a soul.
